KOVA Appraisal & Consulting Services acquired MPJ Real Estate Services, Inc. and Carlson Norris & Associates in June of 2019. Our company includes three MAIs, Nine Staff Appraisers, and an Office Manager. Lee Norris and Michael Jonas are native Floridians educated in Florida schools, earned B.S. degrees, and have earned the highest professional designation as members of the Appraisal Institute. Our firm has been appraising real estate for over 100 years combined. Believing in the highest professional standards, every appraisal is performed by licensed appraisers and reviewed by supervisory certified or MAI appraisers. Each commercial and residential appraisal is compliant in accordance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).

Michael P. Jonas, MAI, AI-GRS, CCIM has been appraising commercial real estate since 1999. Mr. Jonas is married with 4 children. He has worked with many prestigious firms over the course of his career including as a bank review appraiser and eminent domain expert witness. Mr. Jonas completed valuation assignments and review assignments for commercial properties throughout the entire state of Florida. He focuses on investments ranging from owner-user properties to complex multi-tenant income producing properties. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker and he has served several years on the Board of the Appraisal Institute including the 2015 President of the Florida Gulf Coast Chapter.

J. Lee Norris was a founding member of Carlson Norris & Associates. He is a native Floridian, with ancestors in Florida dating back since 1835. He was born in Fort Myers and has been an appraiser since 1978. Lee is married and has 2 children.
